In India most of the beginners don’t understand the value of portfolio, they just want to avoid spending and use the family pictures or the so called portfolio shot by unprofessional photographers or street studios, which is bad starts. It is said good beginning means half done work. Remember that modeling and glamour industry is truly a "first impression" business. You know the quote - "You only get one chance to make a good first impression." - There is no business where that is more true than modeling. Every agency or client that you contact - your photos, comp card or modeling portfolio will always go in the door before you.


Your portfolio is only as good as your weakest shot! If you look great in a couple of shots, but lousy in one or two; the art director/production house is most likely going to remember the bad ones.


Variety? More "looks" you have in your portfolio album, the better your chances for getting work! Can you look 18 yrs. old, and also 28? Can you look great as a businessperson and a roller bladder? Every GOOD look you can come up with for your portfolio improves your marketability. Portfolio is like resume of your personality, looks and expression, if your resume are not up to the mark, you will not be called for meetings and auditions.


Well at some extent, we understand that some of the models get good assignments through basic portfolio/pictures, due to some reason like: effective PR, contacts, destiny or some other reasons. Imagine if the same person has highly professional top of the line portfolio. Of course quantity and quality of work will be 4 times better. So never underestimate ‘power of portfolio’.


A. Full Portfolio:

A complete full portfolio is almost essential for various kind of assignments, like: Films, TV serials, Music Video, TV commercial, Print, Out door, Corporate and documentaries etc., A full portfolio will create an impression of yours, in terms of variation of expression, posturing, back drops, outdoor, difference get up and outfits, so all these require at least one day to shoot. And model should understand that this is an investment. The Full portfolio is inclusive of the following:


1. Full day (8 hours) professional photography at the well equipped studio. And outdoor shoot nearby location

2. As many looks / outfit changes as you can manage during the shoot (8-9 dress changes)

3. All Professional high pixel digital around 250-300 images on DVD/CD (high resolution versions suitable for big enlargement and low resolution versions suitable for E-mail ID and website creation.

4. Selected 30 touch up pictures of 8”x 10” hard copies, comp card with a master album. Along with finished 30 images on CD.

5. Outdoor shoot in nearby location.

6. Make up artist and hair stylist through out the shoot for male and female models.

7. Inclusive of wardrobe, accessories (by the fashion stylish)

8. Consultancy to promote modeling and acting career in glamour industry.

9. Contact dettails of some film/TV/Music Video directors and production houses, advertising, TV channels.


B. Half Portfolio for Character and Kids Models:

Male Rs.12,500 (USD 275)
Female Rs. 13,500/- (USD 295)

By and large half portfolio is not advisable to young, aspiring and promising talents, this portfolio is having limited hours with around 4 changes and specifically designed for kids, character artists and low budget models. The half portfolio is inclusive of the following:

1. Half day (3-4 hours ) professional photography at the well equipped studio.

2. As many looks / outfit changes as you can manage during the shoot (up to 4-5 dress changes) with half day shoot

3. All Professional high pixel Raw digital around 100 images on DVD/CD (high resolution versions suitable for big enlargement and low resolution versions suitable for E-mail and website creation)

4. Selected 15 touch up pictures of 8” x 10” hard copies with Compcard

5. Make up artist and hair stylist through out the shoot for male and female models.

6. Inclusive of wardrobe, accessories (by the fashion stylish)

7. Consultancy to promote modeling and acting career in glamour industry.
